How you can connect laptop to tv? Are you tired of watching movie in your small screen laptop and likes to connected to your big screen tv then you have come to the right place. On this article i will show you how to enjoy your favorite movies, video games, any websites or pictures like never before on Big Screen TV. Here are different types of way that you can connect your laptop to your Big Screen TV.
1. Connect with S-Video
S-Video (Super Video) port is found on most of the laptops with TV-out functions, and can connect your laptop to both analogue and digital TVs. It was one of the easy options to all laptop users to use an S-Video cable to connect your PC/Laptop to TV. Most PCs and digital televisions are equipped with an S-Video port.
2. Connect with DVI
DVI (Digital Video Interface) Most laptops have DVI port and so does the new TV models. Now its far easy to connect your Laptop to your TV with DVI cable in no time. If you like to use audio with a DVI connection you must use a seperate audio cable such as RCA or composite AV cable. (that has red, yellow, and white connectors on each end).
3. Connect with VGA
Most PC or Laptop have a VGA output, and if you have an older HDTV, try a VGA cable which allows you to have a better picture quality and it works great with both Macs and PCs. The VGA is a 15-pin connector commonly found on laptops and other devices. To connect, turn off your laptop and TV then reconnect the VGS cables with both. Now turn them on and now your laptop is connected to your TV.
4. Connect with HDMI
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) one-half the size of the DVI port, is also shape as rectangular with 19 pins. It provides digital audio in addition to digital video, despite its smaller size and it is my favorite way to connect PC/Laptop to to your Big Screen TV. It gives best high quality connection. And these days all the HDTV has the HDMI port. HDMI supports HD resolutions and carries both audio and video signals in a single cable.
With all these cables you need to adjust display settings of your laptop and match with your TV settings. It is very simple but if you having difficulty then try this: Right-click on desktop then select Screen Resolution to detect and select your TV’s display. Now go to your TV and click your TV’s video source, usually called “input” or “TV/Video” on your remote. That’s about it! You can now select the mode from which you are connected.
