Recently in blogging meeting in riverside county, one of my guy friend ask me if he can also earn money from blogging like every one else. There are many people who like the idea of earning money by blogging or writing content on the Internet. The very thought of you sitting at home in shorts or pajamas, writing on a topic that interests you and from this to make money is the least attractive.
Below are few points that applicants for professional bloggers should pursue
Blogging is hard
More people will try to become professional bloggers will put considerable effort into blogging, researching and spending enough time looking for a good theme and its solution. But after a few weeks or months, you will begin to feel tired, you will find excuses to do anything except blogging. This process will suffer in the quantity and quality of your blog. This process requires strong motivation and time management that will deliver sustainable results.
Results do not come immediately
Professional blogging will make you rich instantly. It is true that if all conditions are met to have a broad audience, it will really grow over time, if not exponential, then at least with linear progression, but the reality is that the number of readers will grow gradually. That means you will need patience to get to the readership that the blogger desires (the number and type of readers). Three key things that need to be focused are: attendance (number of readers), reputation and interaction with readers, to be pleasant “stay” of your blog.
It is not enough just to write well
Writing the blog is critical and most important, it turns around and the sense of publishing content, but in any case is not enough if you want to be pro. Despite the effort required for full blog with quality content, you need to work on promoting the blog, which basically boils down to interact with current and future readers.
This “interaction” can be divided into two segments: communication with the readers of your blog through the comments and other ways of exchanging thoughts (email, IM, voice, etc.) and communicating with readers on other blogs, mostly by leaving well meaningful comments that have something to offer as potential and will be “decoy” (not in a bad sense) to readers from other blogs to your blog. The active promotion of the blog through such activities according to some professional bloggers requires more time and effort than filling your blog with content. This interaction will bring many new links and new readers.
Just AdSense sometimes not sufficient
Most professional bloggers make money from online advertising, through Pay Per Click ads like those of Google AdSense. But there are professional bloggers, mostly those who have already built significant traffic and reputation, which seeking sponsorship or offering paid advertising space. Such activity you require additional skills and charisma, because your financial future (professional are, right?). They will depend on your ability to sell them or to sell the story to your blog and they will be placed almost in the role of manager of his company who will have to rule the marketing process as an expert.
Just blog sometimes is not enough
Than “passive” ways of earning from your blog, or with Google AdSense and similar online advertising models, as well as advertising space, you can begin to think about alternative ways of earning, using the reputation of your blog. Starting from the idea that the large attendances can monetizira, you have options to open a parallel electronic store that offers products, ranging from “basic”: mugs with the logo of the blog or an appropriate message through shirts any print, up to an e-Commerce site that will sell tens or hundreds of products. There are thousands of opportunities to monetize well developed site and is left to you whether it will work successfully.
Despite the idyllic notion of earning a living through blogging from home, this profession is not at all as easy as it looks. To tap to work, you should get ready for long and hard work as a plus you will be required to constantly review and your thoughts and your goals, and would have to strongly motivated to prebrod all possible crises that will zade through, whether they have their roots online or offline. You work on the quality of the blog, starting from design to content and the promotion and constantly thinking about new ways to monetize what you have created. In this critical will be the feedback from your readers, so watch out you do not miss good advice from those most affected by what you do.
If you feel you fit somewhere in these frames, then boldly make the first step and give their best. The good news is that there is nothing to lose.
